Cost On Line: $10.00 a man if you sign up online by September 7th, 2011.
$20 cash after setember 7th, the only time you can sign up then will be the morning of the event. You will get 1 run through with the accuracy course and 1 run through with the Tactical course. If you want to run Through the course more than once you can sign up again for an Addiotnal $10.00. you second attemp can only be don after everyone has completed the course for the first time. Unless there have been 100 men fill the roster. In that Case there will be no extra runs allowed. and that will only be determined the moring of the event.
Time: Check in starts at 8:00 AM. Registration Closes at 8:30 AM
*Mandatory Safety Meeting & Course Walk Through at 8:30 AM*
(If you are not checked in by 8:30 you cannot shoot, no refunds)
· Accuracy Course:
· This is a single target course.
· You get 6 shots in 30 seconds (if the line is broken you receive the higher points).
· There will possibly be up to five other men at a time shooting along side of you at the firing line for the accuracy course.
· Tactical Course:
· This is a timed event.
· 15 steel targets 18 shots.
· Mandatory: If you shoot a magazine you can only have 6 shells in each clip. You will have to reload twice during the course.
· If shooting a revolver that is modified to have more than 6 shots, you too are limited to only 6 shells per speed loader for your pistol. You also will have to reload twice in the course.
Total bullets needed: 24
Rain out: In case our God blesses us with rain that weekend we will probably reschedule for the spring due to dove and deer hunting season. We will hold your fee over for the next event, or if need be, you may request a refund. (for rain only)
There will be water provided, and closer to lunch, we will have some kind of fajita wrap to snack on.
Again, this is a men's 18 and older event, if you do bring children they have to be attended at all times! They are not free to run or roam around at all. They also must have ear protection at all times as well as eye protection at all times. This is not a safe environment.
This is at the Atascosa Gun Club and it will not be closed off for this event. There is a great possibility there will be members at the far side of the range sighting in their rifles during this time as well. Please respect their privacy during this event.
Always leave a place better then what you found it. This is put on by volunteers. We will need your help in keeping the place clean, everyone safe, and to make sure everyone goes home with who they came with.
Please have fun, enjoy the competition, and just maybe you will earn the buckle and some bragging rights with your friends.
