Kenya Africa 2006
Well, I finally got it up on the website! This is the video from this year's trip to Kenya. My wife and I, along with two others, went to Africa and provided 3 water wells this year. We also started a new church, preached to over 3000 people, went into 6 schools for evangelism, and in total saw almost 900 people come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior. It was a great trip and we want to thank you for helping us get there. This ministry is not about you, but can't be done without you. Simply Sermons is about helping to teach and train Pastors and Church Leaders around the world. Your monthly donation helps sponsor one of these leaders. I hope you will watch the video below and see what operation H2O is all about. THE SCREEN WILL BE BLACK FOR ABOUT 42 SECONDS. THIS IS NORMAL. So sit back, grab your popcorn and enjoy the featured presentation.

Operation H2O What is Operation
H2O?
Cowboy Fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Pete Pawelek started Mission Kenya in 2004, Operation H2O is a major part of Mission Kenya. Operation H2O (Hope to Others) is designed to bring a fresh, clean, and reliable amount of drinking water to a village, town, or in some cases, large tribes in Kenya. We take things like water for granted here in the states, but in other places like Kenya clean water is the exception, not the rule. Even in the capital of Nairobi there are many places where families must travel 5 miles or more one way for clean water, and in rural areas the distance can be hundreds of miles to the nearest well. Pastor Pete was preaching in Kenya in March 2004, and came across a woman on the road with a dead child in her arms. When asked what happened she said he had received a parasite from the water hole were they got their drinking water and died. When they came into the village they found many more sick, dying, and dead children and adults. Pastor Pete said "It was the hardest thing I have ever had to look at. Right then God said ?You can make a difference!' " Operation H2O was formed to make that difference.. We use a small well to make a big difference in the lives of Kenyans.

How Can
I Help?
If you want to be a part of Mission Kenya, the next question is, how can I help? The first and most crucial area we need help in is PRAYER! We need you to pray for us and the people of Kenya. We want you to join us in prayer for safety, salvations, and service opportunities while we plan and while we are there. Perhaps God is calling you to GO, this is the second way you can help. You get on a plane and fly to the other side of the world (29 hrs.) to live without AC, running water, and toilets for a few days to make a difference in the lives of people. While there, you will help with advertising for the well opening celebration by going door to door, and market to market. We will also be going to churches, schools, and other places where people gather to share the Gospel of Jesus. You will also be helping with the well celebrations; about one every other day. The third way you can help is to GIVE! Each one of us will be called to help in different amounts and in different ways, but everyone can help with Mission Kenya!
