Each year Cowboy Fellowship supports multiple college and older high school age students for short-term and long-term mission trips. Through this ministry of Cowboy Fellowship, we have sent students to Spain, Italy, Somalia, Egypt, Utah, Washington, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Kenya, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, and Atascosa County as well. Some of these students have gone on to enter into the secular work force where they are now missionaries. Others have gone on to seminary where they are studying to be preachers, youth ministers, and music ministers. Some have returned to the mission field full time and become career missionaries. No matter what these students do after they return from their trip, one thing is certain, each one of them has been touched and changed for the rest of their lives.
Cowboy Fellowship loves supporting student missions, and we would love to be able to give you a full list of the students we support. However, due to the sensitive nature of mission work and the danger of preaching the Gospel in some parts of the world, we cannot include every student and every trip on this page. We hope that this page will allow you to catch the vision, and see the heartbeat of Cowboy Fellowship as we support missions with your help. If you are a student who will be going on a mission trip and need our support, please fill out the form on the bottom of this page for review by our missions team.

Jana went to Washington State in January of 2005 to help start another student ministry on a college campus. They worked with students on campus along with campus leaders and ministers in the area. Jana and her team did outreach and evangelism on the campus as well as events to bring the students out to the new ministry. Jana wants you to enjoy the pictures and let all of Cowboy Fellowship know how much she appreciates our support. Jana was a small group leader at our E-now last year and will be helping again this year. If you see Jana at church be sure and tell her Hi.

This trip was truly an amazing experience that stretched my walk with God in ways I could have never imagined. While we were in Germany we would go into Schools in the morning and tell them about Texas and hope that they would ask us why we had come to the states. If they asked us we could tell them about Jesus but only if the asked. In the afternoons we did sports camps and at nights we had revivals where we would perform skits and we had a speaker come out and share about Jesus. Although we only saw one profession of Faith we know that we planted the seeds and that they are growing. One story that taught me alot was...One afternoon the pastors daughter had asked me to pray with her over one of her friends that wasn't a Christian and was coming to the service that night. After we prayed we walked out of the bus and their she was. After the service she had a lot of questions so i went with them to help in any way I could...mostly praying the whole time. However, in the midst of the conversation the two girls began to argue and when I asked what was going on another girl told me that Becca (the pastors daughter) was basically telling her the way she was living her life was wrong and she needed to change. Although the friend didn't come to know Christ it made me think about all my friends who are living their lives wrong and aren't Christians. As i continued to think about it i realized that i had not told any of them about Jesus through however many years I had known them. This trip showed me that God gives so much and we need to return it all to him for his Glory. I truly believe that I was meant to go to Germany to show me that I haven't been telling the people I am the closest too. Thank you Cowboy Fellowship for helping send me to Germany, it truly changed my life and my ministry.

"We were in Eastern Asia for about eight days, and we were able to be much bolder than we had anticipated," says team leader Justin Cofield on their recent trip to Eastern Asia. They handed out over 4000 Christmas gift bags (including tracts, Bibles and copies of the Jesus Film) to people in low income neighborhoods. They also developed relationships with students on two different campuses and saw five people pray to receive Christ.
"We got to plan and host two Christmas parties where we sang, told the Christmas story, took pictures, played games and just developed relationships," Justin says summarizing the success of their trip.
